Danger Doom, the collaborative project between Danger Mouse and MF Doom, was technically a one-off album-length experiment from 2005. But a dozen years later, their record is getting a re-release and a couple of previously unreleased tracks will be on it. You can hear one of them below, with guest stars Black Thought (The Roots) and Vinny Price. Similarly, despite the wealth of new music we got from Frank Ocean last year with the releases of Endless and Blonde, he continues to leak additional tracks via an occasional radio show on Beats 1. The latest is “Biking,” and it features Jay Z and Tyler, the Creator. There’s a sparkly yet laid back quality to the new song from Her’s, which continues to reinforce their status as a band to watch. I’ve always had a certain affection for the band Polica, and even though their popularity hasn’t been in full blossom as of late, their new track with Spank Rock is a pulsating gem worthy of a fucked up dance floor. Check those ones out, along with other new music from Allure, Felicia Atkinson, Harts, Husky, Lotic, Lou Phelps (ft. Innanet James), Playboi Carti (ft. Lil Uzi Vert) and SADAF.
