As they say in Ghostbusters, don’t cross the streams. There are some good ones in today’s Pick Your Poison. Kingdom brings some gloriously slinky R&B melodies to match SZA’s effortless delivery. No Joy continue to prove that there’s still plenty of creativity to be wrung from the shoegaze genre. The Octopus Project continues their unique take on experimental electro-rock in the best sort of way, and Sondre Lerche proves that just because a song is about violence doesn’t mean it has to sound like it.
