Month: October 2015

Is it just me, or does it feel like someone just flipped a switch at the beginning of October and made it fall? Granted, the official calendar season of fall started near the end of September, but there were still a few days of nice weather until October 1st hit. All of a sudden it was sweater weather, colored leaves on the ground, and pumpkin spice everything. Don’t get me wrong, I love fall, but it’s just weird how you can blink one minute and the next everything around you has changed. Pick Your Poison is a constant though, no matter the season. Please enjoy tracks in this set from Big Black Delta, Brooklynn, Ghosts In Pocket and RadaR. In the Soundcloud section after the jump, stream songs from The Coathangers, Inventions, Maserati, Olga Bell, Pill, Randomer, Run the Jewels and a couple of cool remixes too.

8 Inch Betsy – I Will Never Go Home

Big Black Delta – It’s Ok

Brooklynn – Free 2 B

David August – Patria (ft. Sissi Rada)

Ghosts In Pocket – Make It Break

Madeira – Let Me Down

RadaR – Confidence

Snootie Wild – Like This Before

Hope your weekend was a delight, as always. I’m “celebrating” the first Bears win of the season, with the quotation marks there to signify my general disdain for a football team that’s barely holding it together this season. But enough about sports, you’re here for some music, which is what Pick Your Poison delivers. Don’t miss downloads from Adir L.C., Bad Atoms, High Pines and People’s Champs. In the Soundcloud section after the jump, stream songs from Brothertiger, Christine and the Queens, Gun Outfit, Lawrence Rothman (ft. Angel Olsen), Liss, Neneh Cherry & The Circuit, Postiljonen, Torres (covering Garbage) and White Hinterland.

Aaron Lee Tasjan – E.N.S.A.A.T.

Adir L.C. – Half Right

Bad Atoms – Kilogrammes

High Pines – You’re the Only One Who Understand

Lauren Marsh – Promise

People’s Champs – Hostages
