Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs on their Wild Card victory this evening! Yes, the Cubs are going to the playoffs for the first time in awhile, and many are speculating that they could have a decent chance of going all the way to the World Series. Is it just me, or does it feel like someone just flipped a switch at the beginning of October and made it fall? Granted, the official calendar season of fall started near the end of September, but there were still a few days of nice weather until October 1st hit.
