The time change over the weekend has really been messing with my head these last couple of days. Walking outside at 5pm now suddenly showcases the final remnants of dusk, and I can’t help but think it’s much later no matter what the clock says. There’s a certain sense of disappointment that comes from losing the sun so early I think, even though I’m not a “day person” by any stretch of the imagination. It’s only going to get worse too leading to the Winter Solstice on December 21st, the day with the least amount of sunlight. Of course we’ll all probably be used to the darkness by then, our spirits also brightened by elaborate holiday decorations. Today’s Pick Your Poison does at least give me a much-needed boost of energy and positivity, and I hope it does the same for you.
