There are some great songs from some lesser-known artists that I hope you’ll check out as part of today’s Pick Your Poison. Taking on Leonard Cohen is no easy task, but The Districts do a remarkably good job with it. Jefre Cantu-Ledesma’s new song is about the season of summer, which I miss dearly and can’t wait for it to return. Kodak Black’s latest is remarkably catchy hip hop. And Sleep Party People manage to create something beautiful and coherent while mixing a variety of genres. Other artists in this set after the jump include Amtrac, Doug Tuttle, The Johnsons, Paperwhite, Shadowgraphs, Synead, Welles and Wild & Free.
