Morrissey is a character. I don’t mean that in the sense of how actors portray characters, but more in terms of “a person with a big personality”. He’s consistently given attention less for the music he makes and more for the things he says and does. In the last few years he has kicked opening acts off of his tours for little to no reason, has cancelled many tour dates (eventually citing cancer as his reason for doing so), was dropped by his record label, and a whole host of other things. The man’s a magnet for drama, or at the very least manufactures it himself when there’s none to be found. The reason I bring all this up is because for the first time in nearly a decade Moz sat down in front of a camera for an in-depth interview with Larry King.
