I think it’s cool that Tom/Laura was so upfront about it. I support any transgendered person making the transition they need to make.

I don’t understand all the ins and outs of it, but I figure it’s a person’s health – and those choices are private, like any health choice. I’m a gay man who’s never felt like I was in the wrongly gendered body….but there have been times where I felt my responses, my reactions…my “wiring” was different. So I kind of understand how someone can come to that choice.

The biggest question as far as the music is how the hormones will affect Tom/Laura’s voice. Hormones could possibly change that voice in a way that wouldn’t make it a great singing voice, but only time will tell.

Thanks for the great review, I only recently found Ramona Falls and bought Intuit and I thought that album was great. I just bought Prophet and I’ll see what I think but judging from the songs released I agree on many of the points made, although I do believe I will love the album as much as the last.
