Things are a bit busy here on the site this week with wall-to-wall Pitchfork Music Festival coverage, and if you haven’t had the chance to check that out yet, I encourage you to browse around. The festivities officially kick off tomorrow afternoon in Chicago’s Union Park, but the preview guides are up in case you need a little help figuring out which artists to see at which times. Or, you know, you can just learn a bit more about some of these up-and-coming bands whether you’re going to the festival or not. I’ll have daily recaps direct from the fest all weekend long, so be sure to check back for the play by play!

In the meantime, this edition of Pick Your Poison has you covered if you need some new music in your life. Bishop Briggs has established herself as a powerful voice on the alt-pop scene, and her new stadium anthem “Champion” provides a wealth of reasons why she’s gained such popularity. Speaking of powerful voices, Tei Shi returns after a short break with a new single that serves her particular set of skills quite well. And hey, while on the topic of taking short breaks, it’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Tourist, but he’s back with something brand new and delightful. Journey beyond the jump for even more songs from the likes of Aaron Smith, A$AP Ferg, Bananagun, Dinamarca (ft. Ms Nina & La Favi), Iggy Pop, Jamie Drake, Monomotion, Purple Disco Machine, and Taiwan MC (ft. Paloma Pradal)
